Hailey is Ms. Perfect, always doing exactly what is expected of her. She has the perfect boyfriend, excellent grades, and she’s never gotten into even a little bit of trouble. One night everything changes and soon Hailey’s whole life has been turned upside down.

I do not normally read books like this, but I really enjoyed this story! In fact, I read it all in one sitting! Hailey is funny and complicated, the rest of the cast is interesting and likable, and the plot is definitely not one dimensional.  Though set in a very affluent boarding school, Hailey and her friends rarely seem snooty or spoiled, and on the rare occasion that they do appear to look down on others, they are quick to find their way.  The conflict between Hailey and her family is particularly touching, and the ulimate conclusion is sufficiently sweet without being cloying.
